Inszone Insurance Services Acquires Mattis Insurance Agency

Business Wire

3rd Acquisition in the Houston, TX area for Inszone Insurance

SACRAMENTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Inszone Insurance Services: a rapidly growing, national provider of benefits, personal, and commercial lines insurance, announced today the acquisition of Mattis Insurance Agency.

Founded in 1998 by Derrick and Dalia Mattis, and located in Houston, TX, Mattis Insurance Agency has been a leader in providing quality protection for hundreds of individuals, families, and businesses throughout the state. The agency’s success has come from offering superior customer service and low rates along with their ability to understand their customers’ coverage needs.

The Mattis Insurance team will merge and continue to operate out of Inszone Insurance’s Houston location. Mattis Insurance customers can expect the same service they are accustomed to, now under the Inszone Insurance brand.

“Texas continues to be an important geography for our agency, we are very happy to be strengthening our presence in the Houston area with the acquisition of Mattis Insurance,” said Chris Walters, CEO of Inszone Insurance Services. “The team at Mattis Insurance have done a fantastic job building relationships and growing locally, and we are looking to continue their work not only in Houston but throughout Texas.”

Inszone Insurance is expected to announce several acquisitions as well as new locations in the upcoming months.

Founded in 2002 and headquartered in Sacramento, California, Inszone is a full-service insurance brokerage firm which provides a broad array of property & casualty insurance, along with employee benefits solutions. With a strong, experienced management team, Inszone continues to grow organically, as well as through acquisitions. With 37 locations across California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Michigan, Missouri, Texas, and Illinois, the company is looking to further expand throughout the United States.
