Insurity and Oceanwide Hold Fifth Annual Analyst Forum

By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Insurance Weekly News -- Insurity, Inc. a leading provider of core insurance processing and data integration and analytics solutions held its annual Analyst Forum on November 14-15 at the Biltmore Hotel, Providence, Rhode Island. Attendees included industry analysts from Novarica, Celent, and Strategy Meets Action in addition to partners IVANs and West Monroe Partners. The forum provided industry analysts with an update on the latest company developments and insight into projects in production and in flight with a record 19 new customers and 20 successful implementations in 2016.

This year's forum featured customers and how they are utilizing Insurity and Oceanwide solutions. Discussion also focused on the state of the P&C insurance industry and the changes seen among the "Next-Gen" insurer. Attendees heard from Allstate, Tokio Marine HCC, and Employers Insurance Group. John White from Allstate demonstrated Allstate's Commercial Self Service project which is supported by Insurity Policy Decisions' new UI capabilities; Teresa Mencel from Tokio Marine HCC reviewed the self-configuration capabilities of the Bridge product supporting the company's Crisis Management project; Larry Rogers from Employers Insurance Group spoke about the workers' compensation system of the future and how they will leverage Policy Decisions to realize that vision.

Karen Furtado of SMA noted that, "The event featured fabulous case studies from customers that have utilized the Insurity and Oceanwide solutions to make a significant difference in their operations. The day showcased the holistic approach being taken by Insurity and Oceanwide to address the unique needs of different insurers both today and into the future. I was particularly impressed by the number of new customers added in 2016, evidencing their success in the marketplace."

The Insurity and Oceanwide teams presented the latest product investments and use cases for the core products and Insurance Enterprise View (IEV). A demonstration of the integrated Bridge Portal and Policy Decisions ISO solution now being implemented with several customers showcased the benefits of leveraging the assets of both organizations. Oceanwide also provided a sneak peek of its new Smart UI functionality.
