Insurance agency recognized for 100 years of service
Hillsdale Daily News, The (MI)
Nov. 24--HILLSDALE -- A local insurance agency was recognized for a century of continued service with the company.
Moore Insurance Services was honored by representatives from Auto-Owners Insurance Company during a luncheon held Oct. 24 at Olivia's Chophouse in Jonesville.
A plaque and other gifts commemorating this accomplishment were presented to Moore Insurance Services' President Richard Moore, Vice President Eric Moore, and staff by Jeff Tagsold, president, Auto-Owners Insurance Company; Ted Reinbold, senior executive vice president, Actuarial & Life Operations; Cathy Adcock, regional vice president, Western Michigan Region; Karen Tabor, senior marketing representative, South Central Michigan; and Danielle Keefe, manager, South Central Michigan Underwriting.
Richard Moore said it is humbling to think that Moore Insurance Services was the sixth appointment that Auto-Owners made back in 1917.
"Today, they have grown to over 6,200 insurance agents in 26 states and are the 17th largest insurance company in the United States," Moore said. "More importantly, they receive numerous awards from national organizations for providing outstanding customer claim service. We value our relationship with Auto-Owners and appreciate their loyalty and stability for the past 100 years."
