TOLEDO, Ohio, July 1 -- Hylant Group, a brokerage firm, issued the following news release:
Hylant, one of the largest privately held insurance brokerages in the United States, has opened a new office in Atlanta. This is the company's fourth in the American southeast and its 16th since its founding in Toledo, Ohio in 1935.
"As the insurance brokerage community continues to change through mergers and acquisitions, we believe the needs of many of these business insurance customers in the Atlanta area are not being effectively addressed," said Senior Vice President Todd Hugo.
"Hylant is uniquely poised as a privately held organization to immediately step in and offer professional brokerage and risk management solutions that will strongly support these businesses and exclusively serve their interests."
Hugo and team see potential in Atlanta's small, middle and private equity markets.
"Other firms appear to be moving in a direction of 'hubbing' their business, which dilutes their client servicing," Hugo said. "Hylant is winning clients with an opposite approach by providing a focus on relationships and local support."
Hylant-Atlanta is located at 1050 Crown Pointe Parkway, Suite 730 in Dunwoody, Georgia.
