Heffernan Insurance Brokers Promotes Brenda Grootendorst to Portland Branch Manager

Grootendorst brings over 30 years of insurance and risk management expertise in Employee Benefits, Property Casualty Insurance and Risk Management. She provides her clients focused, creative, skillful and intelligent solutions to their insurance and risk management needs. Engaged and proactive, she prides herself in becoming a valued member of the client's human resources, risk management and finance teams.

Prior to joining Heffernan in October 2013, Grootendorst was a principal shareholder of the insurance agency Fullerton & Company. She earned her bachelor's degree in Finance and Economics, graduating with honors, from University of Oregon. She has completed advanced insurance studies earning the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designations.
