Aug. 14--Doug Hazen, a Shelter Insurance Companies agent in Bloomington, has been honored as the company's top agent in Indiana based on overall agency operation in 2018.
Hazen received the Agent of the Year-Indiana award at the firm's recent Conference of Champions. The award is presented to the Indiana Shelter agent demonstrating the highest overall excellence in agency operation. Shelter Insurance operates in 15 states. All state-level Agent of the Year award winners compete for the firm's company-wide Agent of the Year award.
Hazen has represented Shelter since April 2006. Since then, he has earned Conference of Champions recognition six times and he has received the Agent of the Year-Indiana award four times. Hazen Insurance Agency LLC is at 2864 E. Buick Cadillac Blvd.
