Harbor Retirement Associates (HRA) Certified as a Great Place to Work®
"We are proud and honored to be recognized for being a great place to work. This certification is particularly meaningful to us because we work so hard to create a culture that engages and inspires our associates," said
Based on the results of these surveys, HRA learned a lot about the beliefs and work experiences of their associates. They learned that 88 percent of their employees believe that their work has special meaning; 86 percent feel that they make a difference at HRA; 84 percent feel a sense of pride in their work accomplishments; and 84 percent were made to feel welcome when they became a part of HRA.
Throughout its history of serving seniors, HRA has placed a strong emphasis on hospitality, care and ensuring that the individual needs of every resident are met. The HRA team attributes its success to its unique culture, its adherence to its core values, and its dedication to value-centered servant leadership. HRA seeks out, recruits and retains dedicated senior living associates who will personify and internalize their strong company values and vision.
"We applaud HRA for seeking certification and releasing its employees' feedback," said Dr.
HRA currently operates 35 communities, with 10 under development. As an organization, HRA is committed to anticipating the needs of a new generation of seniors. Together as an organization, HRA has collectively adopted and embraced five tenets representing CORE Values for all. HRA associates are chosen for their dedication to the organization's CORE values of respect, attentiveness, integrity, stewardship and excellence.
Typical HRA community features include full-service dining in multiple restaurant venues, housekeeping and laundry services, scheduled transportation and a dedicated staff of nurses available 24 hours a day. All communities feature the exclusive Chef's Fare Dining program with customized dining experiences in multiple restaurants. All communities also offer HRA's award-winning Life Enrichment program, designed to provide social, devotional, fitness and recreational opportunities that have a positive impact on residents.
