WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) _ The Hanover Insurance Group Inc. (THG) on Tuesday reported third-quarter profit of $118.9 million.
The Worcester, Massachusetts-based company said it had profit of $3.13 per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to $2.46 per share.
The insurance company posted revenue of $1.25 billion in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $1.21 billion.
Hanover Insurance shares have fallen 29% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $96.80, a decline of 23% in the last 12 months.
