Gulfstream Property & Casualty Makes the Top 100 Best Companies List

Business Wire

SARASOTA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Gulfstream Property & Casualty Insurance was recently named one of the Best Companies To Work For in Florida, based on offering a quality workplace that employees appreciate.

This press release features multimedia. View the full release here: https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20190730005021/en/

The annual Best Companies list is featured in the August issue of Florida Trend magazine. Florida Trend and Best Companies Group created and compiled the list to identify, recognize and honor the top one-hundred companies to work for in Florida.

“This recognition by Florida Trend is a testament to the loyalty, passion and drive of our team members to deliver on our promise of being there when our policyholders and agency partners need us most,” says Ron Natherson, Gulfstream President and CEO. “Our successes are driven by our people and we have worked tirelessly to build a culture of mutual respect and accountability. That, coupled with a steadfast commitment to personal and professional development, makes Gulfstream a great place to work. I couldn’t be more proud of our Team!”

To participate, companies or government entities had to employ at least 15 workers in Florida and have been in operation at least one year. Companies that participated underwent an evaluation of their workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The process also included a survey to measure employee satisfaction. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.

Gulfstream is headquartered in Sarasota, Florida and was also named one of the 2018 Best Places to Work in Sarasota-Manatee Counties by the Herald-Tribune. They have been in business since 2004, insuring homes and families throughout Florida and the southeast. The company has earned a Financial Stability Rating® (FSR) of A, Exceptional, from Demotech, Inc.

Gulfstream works hard to offer employees a stellar benefit package that includes fully paid healthcare premiums for its employees and full reimbursement for medical deductibles. They also offer a tuition reimbursement program. For more information, please visit www.gspcic.com.

The Best Companies To Work For In Florida program was created by Florida Trend and Best Companies Group and is endorsed by the HR Florida State Council. Best Companies Group managed the registration, survey and analysis and determined the final rankings.
