In his new role, Bloom will have direct oversight for all legal and compliance matters for Group 1001’s Life & Annuity business unit, as well as responsibility for all shared legal services and governmental affairs for the group. He also will have supervisory oversight of the legal and compliance affairs for the group’s other insurance business units – Property & Casualty, Health, and Specialty. In addition to his current governance responsibilities, Bloom will serve as the corporate secretary for Group 1001. He will continue to report to Group 1001’s Chief Executive Officer and President,
