His good deed helped Ramirez receive a donated car from a local automobile dealership.

Ramirez and his friends rushed to see if they could help while Ramirez dialed 911.
Ramirez was uninjured, although his car was totaled and when word got out his insurance company wouldn't pay for the replacement, Barbosa decided to offer Ramirez the donated vehicle.
But Ramirez was already working on paying for another car, thanks to a GoFundMe account.
"My friends and I, we've been driving him to and from school," Ramirez said. "He's the one who started the GoFundMe page for me."
