FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried charged with 8 felonies
Known as the "crypto king," Sam Bankman-Fried was indicted Tuesday by U.S. prosecutors on eight criminal charges after being arrested Monday night in the Bahamas. The indictment against the founder and former CEO of cryptocurrency platform FTX includes charges such as conspiracy to defraud the U.S., wire fraud, securities fraud and money laundering.
