Franklin Madison Launches Pet Insurance for Financial Institutions

Insurance Daily News

2019 OCT 15 (NewsRx) -- By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Insurance Daily News -- Franklin Madison announced it will offer pet insurance programs for banks and credit unions. Through its partnership with A-rated carrier Crum & Forster Pet Insurance Group™, financial institutions that partner with Franklin Madison can now offer another valuable insurance program to their consumers.

Crum & Forster Pet Insurance Group is one of the original pet insurance providers in the U.S. In 2006, as part of a strategic partnership with The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals® (ASPCA®), the company introduced its most recognizable and impactful brand, ASPCA® Pet Health Insurance.

“2.16 million pets were insured in the United States in 2018, an 18 percent increase from the year before,” said Robert Dudacek, president and CEO, Franklin Madison. “The average premium growth rate in the United States since 2014 is over 21 percent. There is a demand for pet insurance, and we chose to partner with Crum & Forster Pet Insurance Group due to their strong reputation, their comprehensive coverage for pets, and their excellence in covering four-legged family members for over 20 years.”

“Helping pets live longer, healthier lives is at the core of our business,” said Bob Capobianco, Senior Vice President, Crum & Forster Pet Insurance Group. “We’re excited to partner with Franklin Madison because it will help expose pet health insurance to more pet parents.”

The new pet insurance program will be offered through digital marketing channels and will complement an already robust product suite built to strengthen consumer financial security. Coverage is for dogs, cats, and horses. The insurance covers exam fees and other diagnostic and treatment costs, including accidents, illnesses, hereditary conditions, and behavioral issues. Plans have flexible benefit levels, deductibles, and policy limits.
