Fortitude Re's COO and EdArts Board Member Sean Coyle presents a $200,000 check to EdArts. The presentation was held during Camp Liberty's final performance for parents and community members.

The Educational Arts Team is a nonprofit organization that uses visual and performance arts to help young people learn and grow. Through its programs, students connect creativity with critical thinking, developing essential life skills that support both academic achievement and personal confidence.

“Fortitude Re is proud to continue our partnership with the Educational Arts Team,” said Sean Coyle, Chief Operating Officer of Fortitude Re and Educational Arts Team Board member. “Through the power of the arts, their programs inspire students to discover their potential, strengthen their confidence and become more engaged learners. This investment reflects our belief that every young person deserves the opportunity and support to thrive, both in the classroom and beyond.”

Fortitude Re’s donation will help sustain the organization’s Family Literacy workshops, which bring families together through interactive storytelling and arts activities, and Camp Liberty, a summer program that gives children an inclusive space to explore art, nature, and collaboration. During the most recent reporting period, five family literacy events served 525 students and parents, while Education Arts Team provided more than $50,000 in scholarships to reduce financial barriers across Camp Liberty, Arts Immersion and other programs. The funding will also support training for educators and youth professionals seeking to bring creative education into local classrooms.

“This investment from Fortitude Re will directly expand access to the arts and literacy experiences that help young people discover their voices and build confidence,” said Roxy Arrojo, Executive Director of the Educational Arts Team/Camp Liberty. “From October through March alone, our programs served 9,781 students, parents and community members. This renewed partnership will help us build on that momentum, reduce financial barriers and bring meaningful creative-learning opportunities to even more families.”
