Business Wire

HAMILTON, Bermuda--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Fortitude Reinsurance Company Ltd., (“Fortitude Re”) today announced a $200,000 donation to the Educational Arts Team through its Fortitude Re 4 Good community partnership program. The Educational Arts Team is a nonprofit organization that uses visual and performance arts to help young people learn and grow. Through its programs, students connect creativity with critical thinking, developing essential life skills that support both academic achievement and personal confidence.

“Fortitude Re is proud to continue our partnership with the Educational Arts Team and to support the incredible work they are doing for families across Jersey City,” said Sean Coyle, COO and Educational Arts Team Board member. “Investing in creative learning experiences strengthens not only academic foundations, but also the confidence and curiosity that help young people thrive. We are honored to play a role in expanding these opportunities and deepening our commitment to the communities where we live and work.”

Fortitude Re’s donation will help sustain the organization’s Family Literacy workshops, which bring families together through interactive storytelling and arts activities, and Camp Liberty, a summer program that gives children an inclusive space to explore art, nature, and collaboration. The funding will also support training for educators and youth professionals seeking to bring creative education into local classrooms.

“The Educational Arts Team is ecstatic to receive this generous donation and to continue our partnership with Fortitude Re,” said Roxy Arrojo, Executive Director, Educational Arts Team/Camp Liberty. “This funding will help us provide free to low-cost access to arts and literacy programming for our community. Over the past two years, our partnership has already impacted thousands of children, and we’re excited to see how many more families we can serve. We are truly grateful for this support and look forward to all we will accomplish together.”

The collaboration with Educational Arts reflects Fortitude Re 4 Good’s focus on long-term community partnerships that enhance learning, promote sustainability, and strengthen local impact.
