Fort Lauderdale-based Patriot National acquires InsureLinx

South Florida Sun Sentinel (FL)

June 18--Fast-growing Patriot National Inc., a Fort Lauderdale-based national provider of outsourcing services to the insurance industry, announced another acquisition: InsureLinx of Sarasota.

Founded in 2003, InsureLinx provides employers and insurance carriers with technology services for worker's compensation administration and billing. The company's software products enable employers to pay their premiums each pay period, eliminating the need to generate estimates and make large down payments.

Jeff Harris, the company's CEO, will assume the role of Executive Vice President-Business Development under the Patriot corporate umbrella.

Patriot National is headquartered at the Bank of America Plaza at Las Olas City Centre and operates seven regional offices around the U.S. The company has acquired several companies so far this year, including: Brandywine Insurance Advisors, Infinity Insurance Solutions, Corporate Claims Management Inc., Candid Investigative Services and TriGen Insurance Solutions. In 2014, it acquired Phoenix Risk Management Insurance Services in Roseville, Calif., and DecisionUR, a software firm in Newport Beach, Calif., specializing in the workers' comp industry.

Patriot National reported $10.4 million in profit in 2014 on revenue of $117.3 million.
