First American Title Introduces AgentNet® Assist: Title Intelligence, an AI-Powered Document Analysis Capability

Business Wire

—New capability uses AI-assisted analysis to help title professionals accelerate the document review process—

SANTA ANA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
First American Title Insurance Company, a leading provider of title insurance and settlement services and the largest subsidiary of First American Financial Corporation (NYSE: FAF), today introduced AgentNet® Assist: Title Intelligence, a new capability that helps title professionals move from document navigation to decision-making more quickly using AI-assisted analysis to review title search packages. Introduced in 2025, AgentNet Assist is the unified AI layer within AgentNet that helps reduce manual effort, surface insights, and support stronger decision-making.

“AgentNet Assist: Title Intelligence is intended to amplify the strengths and deep knowledge of title professionals, highlighting the expertise they bring to every file,” said Steve Vincini, president of First American Title's Agency Division. "And, unlike other tools in the marketplace, AgentNet Assist is fueled by First American Title's underwriting excellence, proprietary data assets developed over decades, and unmatched domain expertise."

Title professionals routinely work with large, unstructured title search packages that can contain hundreds of pages of deeds, liens, legal descriptions, and supporting documentation. Reviewing these materials requires significant manual effort to locate relevant documents and information, verify consistency, and identify potential issues. AgentNet Assist’s new Title Intelligence capability can analyze title search packages, extract and organize key information, and provide references to specific sections, accelerating the document review process.

“This AI-assisted capability streamlines repetitive, time-intensive tasks, helping reduce processing time by as much as 30 minutes per file, depending on complexity, in early usage,” said Paul Bandiera, senior vice president of agent technology. “The enhancement to AgentNet Assist reviews documents for potential issues, such as breaks in the chain of title, missing information, or data discrepancies, establishing a strong foundation early in the examination process, while final title determinations remain with the title professional.”

First American Title is currently rolling out Title Intelligence to internal teams, using the process to strengthen result quality and accuracy in real-world conditions. This approach allows the company to leverage deep domain expertise and high transaction volumes to continuously evaluate and improve its performance before broadening availability to First American policy-issuing title agents as part of the AgentNet platform.

Simple to navigate and use, AgentNet is designed to be the only name title agents need to remember for industry-leading title technology. For more information on the AgentNet suite of products and services, contact a First American sales representative or visit agentnetsolutions.com.
