Fire damage estimated at $60,000 at Cozy Corner restaurant
Jan. 09– A fire at Cozy Corner, the popular restaurant known for its barbecue, was started when an electrical panel in the storage room malfunctioned, causing damages to the building and contents estimated at $60,000, Memphis fire officials said Friday. Fire crews responded to an alarm at the restaurant at 745 North Parkway and Manassas near Downtown at 1:25 p.m….
