Financial firm finds new home in historic Shelby mansion

Apr. 24--A private wealth management firm has expanded recently and is taking up residence in a historic Shelby home.

Lionshare Investments LLC recently announced the opening of a new office in the historic Webb Mansion at 331 S. Washington St. Lionshare will offer customized investment, retirement and estate-planning solutions for individual, corporate, and nonprofit clients.

"I couldn't be more excited about our expansion. It gives me great pride to be part of a company that strives to offer exceptional financial services to its clients," said founder and president, Dr. Casey Smith.

Smith has built a reputation not only among his industry peers and clients, but throughout the Shelby and Boiling Springs communities as a volunteer for youth sports and as a board member of the Cleveland County YMCA. As an ordained minister, he also serves as a teaching elder for Covenant Reformed Baptist Church, a new church plant that is a member of the Founders Ministries and the National Association of Integrated Family Churches.

Smith brings more than 26 years of experience spanning the insurance, investment-banking, retirement and estate-planning disciplines within the financial services industry. Lionshare was established to foster an environment of professionalism that is guided by a biblical worldview.
