FEMA team at Lowe’s showing how to weather storms

Aug. 2--A FEMA Hazard Mitigation team is in Enid at Lowe's to help teach survivors how reduce damage on future storms and floods.

The mitigation team will be at the store, 5201 W. Garriott, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily until Aug. 17.

Nearly $64 million in combined funding from Federal Emergency Management Agency, U.S. Small Business Administration low-interest disaster loans and paid claims by National Flood Insurance Program went to Oklahomans impacted by severe storms, straight-line winds, tornadoes and flooding between May 7 and June 9.
