Fed may moderate interest rate hikes in December, says Fed Chairman
The Federal Reserve of the United States may moderate the increase in basic interest rates from its next meeting in mid-December- said the chairman of the institution, Jerome Powell, on Wednesday. The Dow Jones registered a 2.17% rise, the Nasdaq technology rose 4.41% and the S&P 500, 3.08%, as the closing bell sounded. The Fed plans to meet on December 13 and 14..
