Fed confident of maintaining growth despite "risks" from Ukraine, China
The president of the Saint Louis Federal Reserve, James Bullard, one of the people who sits on the committee that sets benchmark interest rates in the United States, said Monday at an event in Barcelona that the US economy is already heading towards a "soft landing" thanks to the Fed's monetary policy, although he pointed out that there are still risks to deal with.
