Farm Bureau to offer driver safety course
Jun. 4—The Washington County Farm Bureau is offering a driver safety class for area residents.

Drivers must attend the full course to receive certification. The
The course will cover the many aspects of driver awareness and defensive driving, emergency response, rules of the road and safety issues. Beginning drivers are urged to attend, as well as older drivers who feel they may need a refresher course.
Those attending the class will receive a certificate for attendance and participation. In many cases, they also can get a substantial discount on their annual insurance premium from their insurance company for up to three years. For example,
Everyone on a policy can take advantage of the class, especially the parents of beginner drivers are urged to attend.
The program also meets the needs of residents who have received a driving citation and must attend a certified driver safety course.
