Faith can move mountains — Beamon seeing improvement
The 18-year-old daughter of Brian and
She suffered a traumatic brain injury, in addition to broken jaws, laceration to her liver, and a broken arm. Faith has had internal injuries and been on life support. She has had several surgeries thus far, including removal of a portion of her skull to relieve swelling. She has also had a feeding tube, and battled a bout of pneumonia.

"I know the Lord is in control, and I know Faith is a Christian."
Right now, Faith is still at Medical City,
"I read a favorite verse of Faith's every day," Christie said. "It is Isaiah 41:10, 'Fear not, for I am with you. Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.'"
Christie said Faith has been more responsive since her trach tube was removed, not speaking as yet, but humming to get her point across. She moves her legs, her arms, her fingers. Her beautiful blue eyes have been brighter and brighter, and she tracks people in the room.
"I think she knows Aaron," she said. "We brought him up
Christie and Brian trade out days; some days Christie is at the hospital with Faith, and Brian is home with the baby, and other days they switch. Faith is never by herself, one parent is always with her.
"The doctors told Brian they see encouraging changes, and improvements every day," Christie said. "Her blood flow to the brain was restricted due to the swelling, but as the swelling goes down, it is causing her brain to kind of argue with her, and causes what they call 'fussiness.'"
Christie said the family has a long row to hoe, but she believes with all her heart Faith will walk out of that place on her own two feet.
"God is not through with her yet," she said.
Any help with the mounting medical bills is very appreciated, and the family covets prayer from the community. For specific prayer needs, Christie asked that we pray for the fussiness, the swelling, and the blood restriction to all decrease.
"Pray for God to heal her body. Because He is the Great Physician, He can do all that," she said.
Prayers for the wonderful staff and doctors at Medical City,
"The laceration in her liver is OK, she is clear of pneumonia, because they did a chest X-ray today," she said Friday. "The break in her jaw has been repaired. Her left arm that was broken is still in the brace, and that should come off in about three weeks.
"Please keep the prayers coming."
