BOSTON (AP) — Two more people charged in a sweeping college admissions scandal have agreed to plead guilty.
Authorities said Tuesday that former University of Southern California assistant women's soccer coach Laura Janke will plead guilty to racketeering conspiracy and cooperate with federal authorities.
Toby MacFarlane, a former senior executive at a title insurance company, will also plead guilty to conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud.
MacFarlane was charged with paying bribes to get his children admitted to USC as fake athletic recruits.
Authorities say Janke helped create bogus athletic profiles to make MacFarlane's children look like star athletes.
MacFarlane was among 33 prominent parents charged in the case. Thirteen other parents have already agreed to plead guilty.
Emails were sent Tuesday to lawyers for Janke and MacFarlane.
