Everest Insurance® Continues Global Expansion with Official Entrance into Spain

MADRID - January 31, 2023 - Everest Insurance^®, the insurance division of Everest Re Group, Ltd. (NYSE: RE), a global underwriting leader providing best-in-class property, casualty, and specialty reinsurance and insurance solutions, today announced its expansion into the Spanish market following regulatory approval from the relevant authorities to operate in Spain (trading as Everest Insurance (Ireland) DAC, Sucursal en España). The Spain branch is headquartered in Madrid, with another office opening in Barcelona, and operations are led by José Ramón Morales, Head of Spain.

Under the leadership of José Ramón Morales, Everest continues to build out its team of seasoned underwriters to best serve the evolving needs of the Spanish market and support the company's continued growth.
