MADISON, Wis., April 24 -- The Wisconsin Department of Employee Trust Funds issued the following news:
ETF has submitted a proposed administrative rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse and will accept comments until May 30, 2017.
* CR 17-031--The purpose of this rule is to close the Long-Term Disability Insurance program (LTDI) to new claims and re-open the Wis. Stat. Section 40.63 Disability Annuity Program (40.63) to all eligible employees effective January 1, 2018.
The proposed rule, along with the fiscal estimate and economic impact analysis, are also available on the Wisconsin State Legislature website.
A public hearing for CR 17-031 will be held by ETF on May 30, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Conference Room GB at 801 W. Badger Road in Madison.
