Enzi says American people are more important than keeping failing Obamacare
This week Enzi introduced a resolution that would provide for the repeal of Obamacare. In this second day of debate on the resolution Enzi said proponents of Obamacare are blind to the fact that it makes health care unaffordable for millions.

Enzi pointed out that the law's authors passed part of Obamacare through the budget reconciliation process. The law has never been popular. A majority of Americans want to see Obamacare change or completely replaced. There has never been a majority of Americans who support the law in large part because it has resulted in less choice and higher prices.

Enzi refuted Obamacare proponents who are accusing him and others of wanting to throw people off their current health care plans. Enzi said the goal is to improve the system so more people can get better health care, not just coverage. He hopes that improving the system is something that members from both parties can work on together, but said devotion to a failed system will not serve that end.
