Drug cases resolved in Cheshire County court

Keene Sentinel (NH)

April 24--A Maine woman charged with possessing and selling drugs was among those sentenced recently in Cheshire County Superior Court in Keene.

Jeanine L. Molella, 25, of Portland was found guilty of felony possession of psilocin, LSD and MDMA with intent to distribute in September in Keene. She was sentenced to two to six years in N.H. State Prison, all suspended for five years, for possession with intent to sell psilocin and LSD, and assessed $1,240 in fines and penalties on each charge, also suspended for five years.

Molella was sentenced to 12 months in the Cheshire County jail for possession of MDMA with intent to sell, and credited with 12 days served while awaiting resolution of her cases. Her sentences are to be served concurrently.

Additional charges of possession of hash oil with intent to sell, possession of cocaine with intent to sell, possession of MDMA with intent to sell, conspiracy to distribute MDMA, conspiracy to sell LSD and conspiracy to sell psilocybin were dismissed by prosecutors.

Others sentenced recently on drug charges in Cheshire County Superior Court include:

Diana M. Espaillat, 31, of Swanzey was found guilty of possessing both heroin and crack cocaine in October in Keene. She was sentenced to two to four years in state prison on the heroin possession charge, all suspended for five years, and assessed $434 in fines and penalties, also suspended for five years.

She was sentenced to 12 months in jail on the cocaine possession charge, six months suspended for five years. She was placed on probation for three years and assessed $434 in fines and penalties, suspended for five years. She was also found guilty of violating her probation on a 2012 conviction for insurance fraud and was sentenced to six months in jail. She will be eligible for home confinement with electronic monitoring on both convictions after serving five days. She was credited with two days served while awaiting resolution of her cases.

Espaillat was also found guilty of misdemeanor driving under the influence of drugs. She was fined $620, and her license was revoked for nine months.

A charge of possessing alprazolam was dismissed by prosecutors as part of a plea agreement.

Addison Southwick, 28, of Swanzey was found guilty of felony sale of heroin in Keene in December. He was sentenced to three to six years in state prison, all suspended for five years, assessed $620 in fines and penalties and ordered to pay $80 in restitution to the Keene Police Department.

Southwick was also found guilty of violating his probation in January on a 2015 felony conviction for possessing heroin. He was sentenced to nine months in jail, suspended for two years, and credited with five days served while awaiting resolution of his case.
