DeSantis Backs Trump Call to End Unlawful ObamaCare Subsidies for Members of Congress

Palm Coast, FL - Rep. Ron DeSantis (FL-06) issued the following statement after President Donald Trump called for an end to congressional subsidies under ObamaCare:

"President Trump is right: the Obama administrative action conferring massive taxpayer subsidies on members of Congress for health insurance represents an illicit 'bailout'. There is no way members of Congress should be permitted to walk away from their pledges to liberate the American people from the burdens of ObamaCare while reaping the fruits of this illegal administrative rule. President Trump should rescind the rule and make Congress live under the law as written."
