WASHINGTON, Oct. 20 -- The Democratic Governors Association issued the following news:
State Senator Dan Feltes tonight trounced GOP Gov. Chris Sununu in the first of two gubernatorial debates. Feltes highlighted his own bipartisan record of fighting for New Hampshire families while going after the Trump-Sununu agenda that has left too many Granite Staters behind.
Tonight, Sununu reiterated his support for Trump's damaging agenda over the needs and wellbeing of New Hampshire families. From vetoing legislation that would have increased the minimum wage, advanced renewable energy projects, and protected reproductive rights, to attacking the ACA, Sununu has shown Granite Staters exactly where his priorities lie.
"Chris Sununu has put his loyalty to Donald Trump ahead of New Hampshire values," said DGA Deputy Communications Director Christina Amestoy. "For the last four years, Sununu has used his veto power and out-of-touch priorities to leave New Hampshire families behind. This 'Trump guy, through and through' doesn't deserve another term. Dan Feltes will put New Hampshire's working families first, just like he's done throughout his career."
