Danilsa Marciniak to Lead Maryland Insurance Administration’s Property & Casualty Complaints Unit

BALTIMORE, Maryland, Nov. 28 -- The Maryland Insurance Administration issued the following news release:
Maryland Insurance Commissioner Al Redmer, Jr. announced that Danilsa Marciniak has joined the Maryland Insurance Administration as the new Director of the Property and Casualty (P & C) Complaints Unit. Ms. Marciniak will oversee the team responsible for investigating consumer complaints related to property and casualty insurance matters. She will report to Associate Commissioner Robert Baron who oversees the entire P & C section.
"We are excited to have Danilsa join our leadership team and manage our consumer complaints team activity," said Associate Commissioner Robert Baron. "She brings years of customer service and operational experience that will support our consumer protection mission."
Prior to joining the Insurance Administration, she served as the Operations Manager for the Alzheimer's Association where she managed overall administration support functions. Prior to this role, she served as Director-Community Relations for Caring Companions in Ellicott City. She spent seven years in the Howard County Public School system and she worked for Progressive Insurance in the Mid-Atlantic region for thirteen years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Wright State University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She was honorably discharged from the United States Navy where she had been awarded the Joint Services Commendation Medal of Honor.
