I want to thank U.S. Sen. Steve Daines for his proposed single-payer, “Medicare for all” amendment to the legislation to repeal the Affordable care Act. It is gratifying to see that Daines joins the majority of Americans in favoring access to health care for all.
Now that the Republican bill to repeal the Affordable Care Act is dead, I hope Senator Daines will join with Democrats in a bipartisan effort to support a single-payer system so we can have a truly effective replacement for Obamacare.
