D4 Creative Launches Humorous New Cure Auto Insurance Campaign

PR Web

Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) October 05, 2015

D4 Creative, one of Philadelphia's top advertising and branding agencies, has jut launched a new awareness campaign for Cure Auto Insurance. The humorous multi-platform campaign for the New Jersey-based auto firm whose mission is to provide lower cost insurance to drivers in New Jersey and Pennsylvania based on their unique common-sense and fair approach to affordable rates, is being rolled out with multiple TV spots followed by out-of-home, social media, and other tactics.

D4's ECD Rich Wakefield explains our creative strategy, "We wanted to use humorous real life situations metaphorically to communicate driving tips that remind people to drive safely -- a message that ties directly into Cure Auto's 'Drive Well' tagline. When people drive well, they save money. It's that simple."

Kurt Shore, President of D4, adds, "Cure's executive team, COO, Eric Poe and Marketing VP, Mike Kochnover, insisted that the audience engagement bar be kept very high, allowing D4 to create and produce spots with top tier talent and crew from Los Angeles. The campaign will absolutely compete with the much larger national insurance firms, and will continue to position Cure Auto as the leader they are in providing affordable insurance to responsible drivers."

An interesting production note: As the campaign developed, it was clear that Cure Auto wanted a myriad of funny TV spots. So to augment the gifted writers at the agency, D4 contracted improvisational comedians from New York to brainstorm as many ideas as possible- that yielded additional spots for the campaign as well as a library of ideas for the future.

The spots were shot in LA, directed by Emmy-award winning Ray Dillman and Director of Photography, Danny Ruhlmann with a cast of LA comedic actors.

The D4 team consisted of Michael Snyder, Chief Strategy Officer; Rich Wakefield, ECD; and Sarah Schatzinger, Sr. Producer. Music was composed by Kurt Shore, President of D4.
