Feb. 6—COVENTRY — Coventry Fire and EMS is seeking volunteer firefighters and EMTs to join the department.
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old to join and ready to commit to a minimum of two years of service to the town. Junior members between the ages of 14 and 17 are also welcome to apply.
The town will train, certify, and outfit volunteers to operate and deliver services under a two-year commitment, otherwise volunteers will be required to reimburse the town for its investment.
Individuals will be required to pass a background check in addition to a medical exam and physical agility test in order to move forward with the application process.
