CompWest Promotes Dave McGowan to Managing Director of Claims

SANTA ANA, Calif., April 1, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- CompWest announced today that it has promoted Dave McGowan to managing director of Claims.

McGowan is a 26-year veteran of the insurance industry. He began his CompWest career in 2009, serving as claims manager and claims director. Prior to joining CompWest, McGowan worked for Safeco in various claims positions and was a claims supervisor with Nordstrom Risk Management.

McGowan holds a bachelor's degree from University of California at Irvine. He earned his Certified Authority in Workers' Compensation (CAWC) designation and also has Workers' Compensation Claims Administrator (WCCA), Workers' Compensation Claims Professional (WCCP) and California Self- Insurance Administrator designations.
