CompCorrect Becomes RiskCorrect as CCI Takes Industry-Tested, AI-Powered Platform to a Wider Market
(
Since launching in 2020, the platform has expanded across claim types, and beyond claims themselves — connecting incidents, safety activity, root-cause analysis, corrective action and underwriting strategy in a continuous risk-management cycle. As RiskCorrect, the platform is now available as a standalone offering to companies beyond CCI's existing client base that face similarly significant claims exposure and complex risk profiles.
"CompCorrect was the right name when we were focused primarily on workers' compensation," said
Artificial intelligence plays an essential role in that process by analyzing large volumes of claim and incident data for patterns that may be difficult to see one case at a time.
"The technology takes a tremendous amount of routine analysis and administrative work off our people, and it also surfaces things people might miss," Robeck said. "Human attention naturally goes to the biggest or most severe loss. AI can look across hundreds of claims and identify patterns that may be telling us something much bigger. Then our people apply human judgment and experience to decide what that means and what needs to change — and work to help the client make it happen."
RiskCorrect then documents the work that follows, building individual claim narratives and broader stewardship reports that show what corrective actions were taken and what changed as a result. Come renewal time, clients can give underwriters more than a loss history — they can show how they are actively addressing specific risks facing their business.
For many high-exposure companies, those results affect far more than the cost of insurance. Experience modification rates,
"For the companies we serve, managing risk isn't just about managing operating expenses," said Higginbotham | CCI Managing Director and platform co-founder
The impact can extend to employees as well. CCI says its approach has helped reduce employee attrition following workers' compensation claims, with clients reporting a significant decrease in the number of employees who resign or quit after going through the claims process. By identifying problems earlier, improving communication and keeping claims moving, the platform can help prevent the claims process itself from becoming an employee-retention problem.
The rebranding and wider launch of RiskCorrect come approximately a year after CCI joined forces with Higginbotham. At the time,
"We talk a lot about organic growth after a company joins Higginbotham, and CCI is showing us exactly what that can look like," Reid said. "Brad, Tobin and their team see a problem, build a solution — and then figure out how to make it better. They've proven RiskCorrect with their own clients. Now our job is to help them take it to a much bigger market."
