CNO Financial Names Two Vice Presidents

CARMEL, Ind., Feb. 5, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- CNO Financial Group, Inc. (NYSE: CNO) announced today the promotion of Carrie Jost to vice president of communications and the promotion of Robert Birty to territory vice president of its Bankers Life business segment's South Central territory.

Jost will be responsible for CNO's corporate communications, public relations, sponsorship, philanthropy, enterprise branding and event marketing. She will report directly to Gerardo Monroy, chief marketing officer of CNO Financial.

"Carrie has significant experience in communications and brand marketing as well as a deep understanding of our market and customers," said Monroy. "I'm confident Carrie will continue to make strong contributions as a valuable member of our leadership team."

Jost joined CNO Financial in 2005 and most recently served as director of brand marketing. She has held several communications positions within the Bankers Life business segment, including as its manager of brand and marketing communications. Prior to CNO, Jost held positions at The Executives' Club of Chicago and the Mid-America Committee for International Business and Government Cooperation. Jost has a bachelor's degree in political science and Spanish from Illinois Wesleyan University. She currently serves as secretary of the board of directors for Meals on Wheels Chicago.

In his new role, Birty will be responsible for leading the South Central territory's field sales team in strategy and growth. He will report directly to Nathan Richardson, senior vice president of sales and distribution at Bankers Life.

A 32-year veteran of Bankers Life, Birty has been with the organization since 1986. He served as chairman for the company's Agent Development Committee from 2012 to 2016 and has also sat on its Recruiting and Technology Committees.
