Citrus Title receives top Florida industry award

The team at Citrus Title Company in Inverness has again distinguished itself – for the fourth year in a row – as the Top Florida Agent for First American Title Insurance Company.

Citrus Title is owned by local veteran Jennifer Duca. It opened its doors in 2020, and for the past four years has consistently exceeded her expectations.

Duca credits her team with the four-in-a-row accomplishment.

"Our employees are dedicated and committed to excellence," she said.

"I never set out to be the best, just intended to do my best for the community where I live and work," Duca said. "I'm blessed with an amazing staff – honesty, integrity, hard work and customer service are what set us apart. I feel that we truly are a 'Small Business Done Right.'"

The award presentation was made by Bobbi Jo Alonso of First American Title Insurance, who said achieving top title agency honors four years in a row is quite an accomplishment.

"First American has roughly 18,000 agents in Florida, and the criteria to achieve this award includes remitting escrow reconciliations monthly and on time, submitting premium and search fee checks on time, excellent audits, low claims, premium remittance amounts and being a great partner with FA," Alonso said.

Last year, when Citrus Title Company won for the third year, Duca's staff asked what they would get if they could make it three in a row. Her response? A cruise.
