Chubb Adds New Security Services for Yacht Owners

WHITEHOUSE STATION, N.J., July 21, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Chubb has expanded the number of security services it provides to yacht owners in the United States.

The services, which were previously only offered to Chubb's Signature Suite customers, are now available to all U.S. yacht customers of Chubb Personal Risk Services. The new services include:

One complimentary background check annually on each crew member; subsequent checks are available at a discounted rate.
Reduced-rate custom travel security consultations on port or location-specific conditions.
Access to Passport 360°^SM, an annual worldwide travel accident insurance policy providing an array of assistance services, including emergency medical evacuation. It is available for an additional premium.
Additional services, available at discounted rates, include elite security escorts for yachts traveling through risky waters and consultations on local laws and regulations regarding traveling with security personnel and firearms.

Yacht insurance customers will continue to receive complimentary general travel briefings, including travel danger assessments and information on local customs and tips.
