Chapman Insurance opens new office in Punta Gorda

Chapman Insurance Group (CIG), Southwest Florida's leading insurance agency for home, auto, flood and business insurance, recently announced the opening of its new office in Punta Gorda, Florida. Located at 517 S. Tamiami Trail, the new location becomes CIG's second permanent location in Charlotte County, strengthening the agency's long-standing presence in an area it has proudly served for years.

An official ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place from 3 to 4 p.m. Thursday, August 20, at the Punta Gorda office.

"We are thrilled to continue CIG's story in the place where it began," said Brian Chapman, CEO and founder of CIG. "Seventeen years ago, we started in Charlotte County with a vision to build an agency centered around service, expertise and doing what's right for our clients. Since its founding in April 2009, CIG has grown from a small, family-rooted agency into a multi-location firm serving thousands of clients across the state. For Jennifer Baxter, senior agent and Punta Gorda resident, the opening of the new office carries special significance.
