March 06--CareSource, which has established its southern regional headquarters in Atlanta, said Monday that the location could support as many as 200 employees when hiring is completed, the company said in a job fair announcement Monday.
The downtown Dayton-based Medicaid managed care provider and commercial health insurer is hosting a two-day job fair starting Wednesday at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Atlanta to fill a variety of positions -- including call center representatives, case managers and social workers -- who will be needed when the company begins serving Georgia Medicaid recepients in July.
CareSource successfully bid to provide Medicaid managed care services for Georgia beneficiaries in 2015 and immediately began hiring for the regional headquarters, located in Atlanta's Galleria area. At the time, the fast-growing company said it would also add about 100 new workers in Dayton to support the regional headquarters in Atlanta.
CareSource, which is planning to build a new six-story office tower in downtown Dayton, had a total workforce of 3,100 at the end of last year, including 2,200 in Dayton.
The nonprofit, which posted year-end revenue of $7.2 billion in 2016, offers health coverage to more than 1.6 million members across four states, including offerings on the federal Health Insurance Marketplace and Medicare Advantage plans.
