Business insurance agency Arthur Hall acquired by Marsh

Marsh McLennan Agency, a part of insurance giant Marsh, announced the acquisition of Arthur Hall Insurance, a West Chester, PA-based full-service insurance agency. Terms were not disclosed.
Arthur Hall has an office in Pike Creek.
Founded in 1966, Arthur Hall provides commercial and personal lines services to clients across the country, with specialties in the life sciences, information management, non-profit, craft beverage manufacturing, and municipal industries.
All Arthur Hall employees, including President Jim Denham, will join MMA and continue to operate out of their two office locations in West Chester and Pike Creek.
"Our clients are facing challenges on multiple fronts, and our value lies in the ability to foresee these dynamics and equip them for any scenario," said Andrew Neary, CEO of MMA's East region. "We look forward to bringing the Arthur Hall team's business insurance expertise to our clients in the region, while simultaneously establishing a new presence for MMA in Delaware."

The purchase marks the second regional business insurance agency acquisition in recent months.
NFP a part of insurance giant Aon acquired the Lyons Insurance Agency, Inc.in February. The sale was announced at a joint Lyons-University of Delaware economic update.
