Buckner Company Joins RiskProNet International

MENLO PARK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The Buckner Company, one of the largest privately owned insurance agencies in Utah, has joined RiskProNet International, an association of leading independent insurance brokers in North America.

Founded in 1936 and headquartered in Salt Lake City, The Buckner Company has six offices in three states, Utah, Idaho and Colorado. The insurance brokerage provides all essential insurance services such as property and casualty coverage and employee benefits, with specialties in construction, trucking, technology, health care, retail and manufacturing and homeowners associations.

Current Chairman and CEO Terry H. Buckner is the grandson of the founder and has strong roots in the communities that the agency serves.

Through its alliances with brokers around the world, RiskProNet members can serve clients in more than 100 countries. Each member is an equal owner in the association, which gives the network the geographic diversity and shared knowledge base to serve clients with national, international or highly specialized exposures to risk.
