Broehl Law Office is a boutique law firm

Daily Record, The (Wooster, OH)

WOOSTER — The Broehl Law Office is a small business founded by local attorney Margo E. Broehl in the Garden Level of her home in 1981. Alongside her dedicated staff, Robin Miller, Leanne Robison and Tony Sigler, Mrs. Broehl grew the firm so much so that additional space and staff were needed. In 2015, The Broehl Law Office moved into Wooster’s historic G.P. Emrich/ William Annat house and Margo welcomed partner, attorney Elizabeth Krieder Wright. Since then, the firm has added the likes of Lynda Varno, Alisa Odenkirk, Brandy Burkett, attorney Joshua Montgomery, Cecelia Gingery and Michiel Andriessen to continue to best serve clients and their families. The Broehl Law Office is a boutique law firm focusing its practice in Estate Planning (Wills and Trusts), Estate Administration, Medical Advocacy, Disability, Special Education Advocacy, Small Business Services, Contracts and Privacy, and Corporate Law. The office offers wrap-around services for clients to address their personal and family legal needs, as well as their professional and business needs.

Mrs. Broehl established the Broehl Law Office to provide caring, compassionate, comprehensive and results-driven legal services to clients and their families. We are a place where people can feel welcome and valued. We are empathetic ears, strong shoulders of support, and truly care about our clients and their families. We strive to make your legal needs as stress-free, manageable and well-planned as possible.

Additionally, the Broehl Law Office has much enthusiasm for entrepreneurs and values the positive impact that small businesses, family farms, and corporations provide to our community. We take great pride in being a full-service, in-house legal counsel for small to medium businesses. From the idea of starting a new business, protecting the family farm, or discussing a vast array of business matters with engineering firms or technology companies, the Broehl Law Office is equipped to meet your legal needs, and help you protect and grow your business!

The Broehl Law Office saw many positive changes to our growing business in 2018. The firm welcomed Joshua E. Montgomery as an associate; as well as two support-staff members and completed a major remodel on the exterior of the G.P. Emrich/ William Annat house that includes a ramp for easier access for clients. A Legal Wellness Program was debuted during a Client Appreciation Luncheon in October 2018. This program serves as a ‘legal check-up’ for clients, to ensure that all their legal questions are addressed, and their wishes are met. Also, the Broehl Law Office expanded upon its specialty legal services to include Medical Advocacy, Disability, Privacy and Compliance with Federal Privacy and HIPAA regulations especially for medical organizations, Special Education Advocacy, Business Services including the full array of Human Resource counseling and Contracts.

The addition of Mr. Montgomery is part of the Broehl Law Office’s strategic plan to grow the firm Mrs. Broehl established to provide caring, comprehensive legal services to clients and their families. He will practice in the areas of Estate Planning, Medical Advocacy, Disability, Special Education Advocacy, Business Services, Contracts, and Privacy. Mr. Montgomery is a Wooster native who earned his Juris Doctorate degree, summa cum laude, from Akron Law School in 2018. During Law School, Joshua served as executive director of Student Writing for the Akron Law Review and was involved in both research and advocacy for the Akron Law Review Journal. He graduated, summa cum laude, from the University of Akron in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science: Criminal Justice. Joshua and his wife, Gabrielle, who is an intervention specialist at Cornerstone Elementary in Wooster, enjoy traveling, reading, spending time with family, frequenting local restaurants and stores, and attending community events in Downtown Wooster — especially Window Wonderland!

“I’m happy to be back in my hometown and working for a law firm that sees everyone who walks through the door as people first and clients second. I have a heart to help people, especially parents of children with special needs.” Mr. Montgomery is looking forward to becoming involved in the community and providing valuable, compassionate, and result-driven legal services through the Broehl Law Office.

Some activities and events the firm has participated in include Client Luncheons; Small Business Summit; Participation in Wooster Chamber of Commerce After Hours; Pink Out days to raise awareness for breast cancer research, fighters, and survivors.

The Broehl Law Office serves as a referral source for many legal questions, including Human Resource items. It wants to be your trusted adviser and make sure that your legal needs are being met. In the event it is not the best firm for your situation, it will connect you with reputable counsel for your needs.

The firm also offers:

• Speaking engagements for businesses, schools and social groups;

• A fully accessible facility;

• Advocacy and representation for persons with disabilities and their families;

• Legal services for nonprofit organizations;

• Community and charitable involvement;

• Participation in the Wayne County Junior Fair Baked-Goods Scholarship Auction and Junior Fair Livestock Sales.

“Come to us when you need a lawyer who leads with compassion and acts like a friend,” says Attorney Margo E. Broehl, founder of the Broehl Law Office. “We are currently serving our fourth generation of client families and feel exceptionally grateful to have helped so many families, small business, family farms, major corporations and nonprofits with their legal needs. It is a joy to do business, foster growth and promote our beloved Wayne County! We are growing and look forward to all the positive happenings in 2019 and beyond.”

The Broehl Law Office is at 558 N. Market St., Wooster. 330-264-9897.
