Ocala Star-Banner (FL)
Feb. 01--Florida Highway Patrol troopers have ticketed an Ocala woman for causing a two-vehicle crash that seriously injured a Summerfield man on Tuesday.
Dianne A. Jundt, 72, was issued citations for improper left turn in front of approaching traffic, no proof of insurance and driving while license is suspended.
Craig D. Conboy, 29, of Summerfield, was listed in critical condition at Ocala Regional Medical Center on Wednesday.
Troopers said Conboy was riding a 2012 Harley-Davidson west on Southeast 132nd Street Road near Belleview on Tuesday when an eastbound Nissan Versa driven by Jundt turned in front of him on U.S. 301. The bike hit the right rear door of the Nissan, which overturned onto its side.
Conboy was ejected and was thrown roughly 15 feet away in the right lane. He was not wearing a helmet. Officials said Conboy was on his way home. He was taken to ORMC
Jundt has minor injuries and was taken to Munroe Regional Medical Center, where she was treated and released.
Local court records do not show any prior driving infraction violations for Jundt.
