Columbian (Vancouver, WA)
April 07--A three-vehicle crash on eastbound state Highway 500 at Falk Road sent all three drivers to the hospital early Friday afternoon, according to Washington State Patrol.
Two vehicles, a silver 2015 Mercedes C and a blue 2016 Mercedes GLC 300, were stopped for traffic when a red 1994 Toyota pickup slammed into the back of the silver Mercedes, pushing it into the blue Mercedes, a WSP traffic report states.
The driver of the silver Mercedes, Jonathan D. Allred, 58, of Vancouver, and driver of the blue Mercedes, Laverne E. Brabant, 70, of Brush Prairie, were transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center for their injuries. They were treated and released, according to the hospital.
Donald R. Crowley, 70, of Warren, Ore., who was driving the pickup, was also transported to the hospital. He was still being treated late Friday afternoon, according to the hospital.
Crowley was cited for following to closely and for not having insurance, according to WSP.
Allred and Crowley's vehicles were totaled. The three vehicles were towed from the scene.
