BRIEF: Springfield-based EF Hutton reveals details about its products

Sept. 28--EF Hutton revealed some details about its products and services this morning as it relaunched its website at www.efhutton.com early this morning.

The site highlights the company's Gateway program for individual investors, which the company says will connect individuals with independent financial providers for services from tax to insurance planning.

The company has pledged to invest as much as $22 million in downtown Springfield and create about 400 jobs over the next several years.

The site also promotes a senior services group program, which is described as a "specialty unit that is focused on the unique needs of seniors."

The senior services program pledges to provide services including estate planning, financial concerns and legal affairs.

The site also lists media programs the firm says will be available to investment professionals and the public. That includes Roadshow, which the site describes as a live, interactive program that highlights companies that offer innovative business models or products.
