BRIEF: SC man accused of setting fire to home with 4 kids inside

June 29--SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. -- A Sumter man who is facing arson charges for allegedly setting his house on fire with four children inside was arrested Wednesday.
Timothy Ricky Browder, 36, is being held at the Sumter-Lee Regional Detention Center on charges of second-degree arson, seven counts of unlawful conduct toward a child, burning property to defraud insurer and filing a false insurance claim, according to news release by the Sumter County Sheriff's Office.
Though the children were not injured in the fire, additional information on their status was not immediately available. Deputy Ken Bell, spokesman for sheriff's office, said the arrest warrant for Browder would be available soon.
