The company is selling Prime memberships -- which include free fast shipping -- for a discounted
Medicaid, a joint state-federal health insurance program, covers more than 3 million Ohioans.
The New York Times said while Amazon has successfully attracted affluent shoppers, it is struggled to attract people with low incomes. The Medicaid discount could be a way to draw low income consumers to Amazon's site and away from its rival
